At Biofabrik, our goal is to reduce destructive fossil fuel extraction while developing profitable business models. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Project Engineer (all genders) as a parental leave replacement who wants to take our solutions out into the world. Afterwards, there is the additional possibility to change to a permanent employment contract.

You are an experienced Project Engineer (all genders) and convinced of a holistic planning approach. Together with our partners you implement projects from planning, controlling to delivery and commissioning around our technologies. You act as a central communication point for all stakeholders and work closely with our tech and engineering team.

You take on these multifaceted tasks:

  • Technical management and organization of project-related teams (external and internal)
  • Project planning and evaluation, cost and budget planning and reporting (internal and external)
  • Definition, optimization and further development of system modules and processes
  • Coordination and further development of contractors, as well as supervision of technical implementation
  • Creation of CAD drawings, presentations, documentation
  • Technical documentation / knowledge management

 

What you’ll bring:

  • You have a diploma or master’s degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, plant engineering or a comparable degree, additional qualifications in chemical engineering or petrochemistry are an advantage
  • You have several years of experience in project management
  • You are confident in the use of CAD and have knowledge in the field of installation and piping design
  • You are solution-oriented, have good communication skills and a reliable and independent way of working
  • You have a very good command of German and English
  • You think outside-the-box and are not afraid to question the status quo
  • You have a strong sense of team spirit, are committed and promote a cooperative and collegial working environment
  • You have a high environmental awareness, a positive mindset and the courage to question the status quo
